Voices of Value offers customized dispute resolution training that is responsive to and reflective of the organization with which we are working. We have worked with a range of entities, from private corporations to federal government agencies to international non-profit organizations. We have delivered training on a range of general topics, including ADR, Negotiation, Facilitation, and Mediation and specialized topics, including Communication, Difficult People, Temperament Styles, Gender and Culture in Conflict, and Psychological Dimensions of Conflict.
We take the time up front to understand what the client values and hopes to achieve in the training and ideas for getting there. We then craft a tailored training program that balances a mix of dispute resolution theory with opportunities for practical application. Our goal is to equip trainees with an understanding of the foundations of dispute resolution while giving them a chance to practice, in a safe environment, what they have learned through general and subject specific roleplays.
As with all of the work of Voices of Value we look to the sustainability of the training programs. Can we build in mechanisms so that trainees have an opportunity for feedback once they’ve taken their new skills back into their environment? Can we provide follow up modules to reinforce the skills that are delivered or to more carefully examine a particular topic? Our goal is to deliver a program that equips trainee with skills for today – and for tomorrow.
